WELCOME SR. JUDE

We Welcome Sr. Jude Charmack FDC (recently professed).
Sr. Jude will start work as part of our Parish Pastoral Team; her main responsibilities will be
in our Primary and High Schools and we look forward to ever-stronger links between ourselves
and our beloved sisters as we journey together in advancing the Kingdom of God.

ALL ABOUT US SUNDAY

The Parish Council encourages all groups within our Parish to display information
about their group for all parishioners to view after morning Masses (9.00am - 12 noon)
and before the evening Mass (5.00pm – 6.00pm) at the Annunciation Parish Centre
on Sunday 13 October. It would be great if members of your group were available
to talk to others about your activity/group. Refreshments will be served.
We would like to take your displays to Holy Family's hall for viewing before Mass (5.30pm - 6.30pm)
on Saturday 19 October. We hope that All About Us Sunday will be another opportunity for us
to meet as a parish and celebrate our activities, hopefully encouraging more volunteers
for all groups. To let us know that your group is attending and for more information.

For information and to let us know if your group will be attending
please click below or ring Lisa on 07583 391823.

GIFT AID 2019

The Diocese has provided individual letters for each parishioner who had a current
Gift Aid Declaration for the tax year 2018/19. These letters are now available for collection
at the back of Annunciation Church and will be handed/posted out at Holy Family.
For Holy Family, a small number of names were not transferred to the merged records last year.
A separate claim for these has now been submitted and letters will be provided shortly.

Please note that for Annunciation the addresses shown may not have been updated
from the date the original declaration was signed.

Could we please ask that everyone in the scheme collects their envelope and checks the details.
If these are incorrect, or if there is no envelope, or if you are a tax payer and would like to join
the scheme then please contact Peter Sharp - Tel 01246 569417 or click below (for Annunciation).
For Holy Family please speak to Tony O’Malley. To join the scheme you need to pay by standing order
or have an offertory box, both of which can also be provided upon request.

As a result of the promotion at Annunciation earlier this year, 57 additional gift Aid declarations
were completed. Most years we are made aware of parishioners who have signed declarations
but aren’t included in the Diocese records and we are able to claim back
up to 4 years providing substantial additional funds for us.

IT ISN’T TOO LATE TO SIGN-UP!

If you missed our recent sign-up opportunity,
you can still do so at any time via the Volunteer page in the Parish menu
by clicking below, or by using a form from the back of church.

Please post forms in the sealed boxes at the back of church

Thank you.
