MASS TIME CHANGE

until the clocks go forward in late March, and thereafter revert to 6.00pm again
when the clocks go back each Autumn.

ST WILFRID’S CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Please will parishioners continue their long tradition of providing unwrapped gifts
for the St Wilfrid’s centre in Sheffield, which are then distributed to rough sleepers,
the homeless and those in need around the Diocese?
This year they would like you to donate men’s underwear - boxer shorts in M/L/XL sizes,
women’s pants in all sizes and also hats, gloves and scarves.
Please leave in the boxes that will be placed at the back of both Holy Family
and Annunciation Churches on the weekends of 1st/2nd and 8th/9th December.

Thank you.

FAITH IN OUR FAMILY AT ADVENT

During Advent families with children aged 3-11 are invited to come along to reflect

A donation of £2.00per family is suggested to cover the cost of refreshments and craft materials.

ANNUNCIATION STAINED GLASS

Parisioners at the Church of the Annunciation will have noticed the two new additions
to our stained glass in the narthex. These beautiful depictions of Our Lady and Christ
were rescued from St Joseph’s, Staveley and have been mounted into light boxes so that
we may continue to appreciate them. This project has only been made possible through
your generous donations – thank you.

We rehearse on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the church,
and would really like new members, both to sing and/or play an instrument.

ST WILFRIDS CENTRE
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED

Did you know that volunteers in our kitchen and café gave around
371 hours in August and accounted for 30% of all volunteer hours?
Or that volunteers who act as greeters at the door gave 100 hours
in September and 114 hours in August, opening the door
and welcoming clients, visitors, volunteers and staff to the centre?

We have 138 volunteers and their average age is 58.
By volunteering with St Wilfrid’s Centre you will be helping
to support homeless, vulnerable and socially excluded adults.
We are always looking for new volunteers in our many different roles.

We especially need door greeters (Monday afternoon)
and people willing to cover holidays and sickness.
Afternoon café volunteers are also needed, and wood-workshop helpers.
We offer training, support and pay travel expenses.

(Volunteers Co-ordinator) by clicking below.
